Who were the most important people I have met in my life?

The team of doctors at the intensive care unit that treated my wife for blood clots in her leg and lungs, and they saved her life.

General Raymond Davis, a Medal of Honor awardee during the Korean War. He was the main speaker at the commissioning ceremony of the USS Chosin. Later, during the reception, my wife and I, spoke with him and I got to hear his thoughts concerning Jane Fonda.

While working at the Pentagon (2009-2019), I met many military people who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, some with Purple Hearts. Worked with a E-5 buck sargent (Army) who was awarded a Purple Heart. Some of the finest men I ever met and to me, deserving of the title of hero.

Your question could be a new, interesting thread;)

I had no idea my vanity would have so many responses. I have had to research many sports figures listed. It’s been educational.

God bless.
