I never said that the U.S. lost. The U.S. militarily won but so far has failed to turn that into a strategic victory. A bad deal will effectively turn the whole thing into a net strategic loss.
Doesn’t mean that Iran has not been damaged significantly. But without a strategic victory to cement the military gains, that will become irrelevant in the mid term because Iran will recover from it sooner than most think.
