And that’s when my in-laws stopped talking to my father. At a dinner one night, he quoted Carville saying “It’s the economy stupid.” They thought my father was talking about them and they got all bent out of shape. My wife, being in network news tried to explain it, but my in-laws weren’t having anything to do with it.
