I say this tongue in cheek, but it is something we conservatives have to watch for, too.

they watch only TV news that reinforces their worldview; they discuss politics only with people who share their worldview; and they often look at social media that make them think the liberal view on a topic is the only rational one to have...

The BEST thing about Free Republic is when people post articles written by liberals from liberal sources, because we not only get to see what they are saying, but tear it up here with some very smart minds who can debate well.

There are some who's first and only argument is to complain about the source. Don't be that guy.

The difference is that you can watch MSNBCNNABCBSWAPOHUFFPONYTIMESVIEW and never see the conservative side (other than filtered, shaded, and altered through their prism). However, even if you watch Fox, FR, NY PO, WA TIMES, PJ, TGP , etc. you will not avoid prime time tv, theater, top & bottom hour radio news, social media, advertising, and all the other leftist slanted images and attitudes we are exposed to on a daily basis.

IOW conservatives are constantly bombarded by leftist ideology and activity; leftists can go through their whole life not seeing a conservative perspective unless it is filtered through one of their accepted groups.
