I’m glad they were able to charge the owners at the link you sent. It’ll keep happening until the breed is eradicated, though. And those in the story you linked were “mixes” — I’ve noticed if you ask an owner about the breed of their dog that resembles a pit, they’ll usually say “it’s a mix”, meaning it’s not a pure pit, so the implication is: nothing to worry about (!!!).
Even mixes can be dangerous.
