That helps, of course, and makes for a fuller thread, but some posters will reference an old article/item and intentionally leave off the original date, to further their own agenda (knowing that too many readers don’t go to the articles in the provided links to read or check them). But if one does click on the link, including in this current thread, one can see/learn the original date very easily. This is a relatively good practice, even if one doesn’t read/watch the (entire) article/item (but watch out for click-bait and malware schemes).
