...Trump has stated repeatedly he won't go back to Twatter...

Factually correct. BUT there is a practical matter to be considered. I think DJT has a lot more impact on Twitter than if he sticks to Truth Social. Possibly crucial for a 2024 election, and even possibly able to influence the 2022 mid-terms.

I wonder if Elon is willing to take the chance on inviting him back, which would certainly earn the wrath of the RAT party. No big deal if DJT wins in 2024, but huge if he loses.

As usual, Trump is the elephant in the room and this will play out in the near future.

Maybe someone just reposts all of Trump's statements on Truth Social on Twitter. An easy solution to the issue.

Keep in mind that Musk also has Starlink. His satellite array is not nearly finished yet but it could be made to function as a free-access backup internet in case the internet comes under attack.

I foresee the combination of Starlink and Twitter to become something heretofore unseen and undreamed of in capability. The Starlink system will have a shorter ping time than any terrestrial system once it links the sats using their lasers. It can also be made to operate with existing smartphones... directly to the satellites, no ground stations needed. Musk has a system of thousands of LEO satellites, all connected using lasers and with programmable SDR capabilities. The power of the system is awesome.

I expect Musk will have to move operations outside the US soon to avoid governmental red-tape and outright sabotage.
