I'll go one further...the most miserable coworkers I have are UNMARRIED women past breeding age who realize they'll work like men far longer than they expected when they were young princesses.
And they are angry no man wants to suddenly start treating her like the princess she now wishes she could be again! Those women are downright insufferable!

But, in all fairness, the second most miserable coworkers I have are UNMARRIED men, past their prime, who worked hard their entire lives, thinking a great job and money would make their lives complete...sadly, too late they realize it's only a job and only money.

High above unmarried men past their prime on the misery index are men who have been raped in divorce court with little to no access to their kids.

Young men who grew up in those situations are unwilling to continue the cycle. The government has no business in marriages and Family Law is a government scam.

The West has been infected with the isms of people from matriarchal cultures for the last century and a half - allowable because of the luxuries of the Unbound Prometheus. The powers to be are angry and afraid as men unplug, like Atlas Shrugging.

Yes, those unmarried older women can be nasty; there are fewer of them because some got married late (they and the men had their own assets in their name already, so nothing was risked by the men, and the women couldn’t have children to weaponize against them).

The older unmarried men seem mellow; I suspect they had marriage options (they probably increase for them over time), but chose not to.
