It’s changed a lot since the early ‘90s even.

A girl can make a false charge of assault and ruin a man’s life, career, etc. with NO REPROCUSSIONS.
Men who assault women/girls deserve a VERY long time in prison. However, women/girls who make false charges deserve serious time too. Sadly, and way too often, these false charges lead to actual Rape charges being taken at less than face value.
