“A bunch of Q followers were certain Oct. 10 was the day all the vaxxed would kick the bucket.”
Not dead (yet). But magnets are now sticking to my arm at the injection site.
“as I posted earlier, there’s a dark side”
Some of what I see on Q makes me think of someone I ran across a few years ago. Some dude stopped me as I was walking through the neighborhood- I don’t recall why exactly, maybe he asked me something- anyway whatever he was saying was perfectly reasonable for a minute or two until it went completely off the rails and into the land of cosmic rays reading minds.
It caught me by surprise and I just nodded in agreement with his story. I think he must have been a high functioning schizophrenic living with his family. Pleasant. Harmless. But with a totally crazy streak. When you see it in person it’s sad rather than humorous. It’s a tough way to go through life.
But, have you ever wondered what if you didn’t agree with him?
Yikes!
There was a guy kind of like that who worked at the computer repair shop my elderly parents used. He’d go on and on about remote viewing and space aliens and how my Dad should take astronomical amounts of Vitamin D like he did. But then he could snap right out of it and discuss computer stuff very sensibly and knowledgeably.
Yes, it’s sad. And it’s sad how so many Q followers have been isolated from family and friends, too. Just sad.
