I do wish people would drop that. It is not factual. Maybe often longer in men, but when it was discussed before, turns out plenty of actual women have that trait.

I just looked at both my hands (made me look!) and on both hands my ring finger is longer than the index finger. Not unusually longer but longer. Just for the facts...I am definitely, without a doubt, female and have been so since birth. I even like ruffles, girly stuff, and curl my hair (sometimes). I do like to get my hands in the garden dirt though.
