What about the nose spray the Israelis came up with; SaNO-something?
As far as I know that nasal spray is a pharmaceutical. Xlear does not have synthesized chemicals and does just as well if not better.
Snot Shot Faux Xlear Recipe
1 C Water (filtered or distilled)
1/2 tsp salt (not Morton. Good sea salt or kosher salt, but still not Morton. If you use Dead Sea solution has to be filtered)
1/2 tsp Xylitol crystals
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 drops grapefruit seed extract for preservation
1/2 tsp colloidal silver (optional but it’s a great booster in case infection has begun to take hold. You MUST use distilled water if using colloidal silver.)
Manually dissolve all the dry ingredients in the water. Do not heat. Load into your nasal spray bottle and label it “SNOT SHOT”. This solution will start to oxidize after a couple of months. Spray it on a tissue. If it has a yellow hue, it’s starting to oxidize. Make a new batch.
nose spray’s are maybe the best thing at killing germs at the first sign of symptoms. All of them work fine. The hard part is getting people to do it. Who wants to put “SNOT SHOT” up your nose?
