Any ham radio operators among us?

Yes - I've had my general for almost 2 years. Got a rig and an off-center fed wire antenna set up. Decent setup.

But I have yet to key the mike and talk.

I got my Extra about 6 years ago just so I wouldn't have any limitations. I live in a valley so I can only get out on 20 or 40 meter. I made a few contacts just to try it out then boxed it up in my Faraday cage. Might pull it out again if some FreeQs want to get together on the air.
