The Musk proposal is as good as could possibly get, Marcus, you blithering idiot.

The alternative will be tens of thousands of more Ukrainian deaths and a shrinking Ukraine.

You and anyone that thinks otherwise are numbskulls.

But, many here know you and your ilk and don't give a damn how many Ukrainians die, just like Democrats don't give a damn how many blacks die because of their policies.

You and anyone else continuing to push this proxy war are evil personified.

No it isn’t. There are fundamental flaws with his suggestion not least that it replicates all of the “rewarding bad behaviour” problems of the first Minsk agreement.

A referendum sounds good in theory but again sticking to the region i know best, Zaporizhzhia:

It had 1.7 million elegible citizens in January, half of them are displaced. In their place you have about 24,000 temporary Russian residents who voted. 800,000 settled in Ukrainian territory didn’t get a vote.

“People living in” Zaporizhzhia Oblast therefore excludes over a million lifelong regional residents but gives a bunch of Russkies squatting in the Russian held area a vite instead.

That’s what Musk’s proposal didn’t resolve.

The only right pathway for rederenda is to demilitarize the Oblasts, secure a lasting armistice, and give everyone who fled the Russian held territory a fair chance at returning to their homes.

That could take a year.,. Our Ukrainian refugees with kids here have six month leases jobs, and school started only last month. And some of their homes are bombed out. So jumping on a plane tomorrow isn’t realistic.
