It’s not a civil war.
These are two nations, who have independently recognized each other’s sovereignty.
Ukraine will likely fight until they regain all territory.
Russia is fighting for resources and economic reasons.
History suggests this will be a bloody prolonged conflict, and likely Ukraine will win because economics alone generally don’t motivate people to die in large numbers.
That being said, Trump seems like the best person to end it.

It is as much a civil war as not one. They were all part of the Soviet Union for something like 70 years and a significant number of citizens are Russian, etc. Some of the areas in question are Russian-majority.

Anyway, I think this is an internal matter for Russia and Ukraine to resolve, none of our business, definitely not worth a penny or any of our resources. Yes, I know we've apparently stirred it up to hurt Russia, to distract from US homeland issues, etc. But it is wrong.
