Lost ~12K followers in last few hours. I assume Twitter is purging some of their legion of bots before final sale. Also mildly curious if the bot armies that obviously swarmed Elon yesterday had anything to do with him deciding to go through with purchase to stop them/their aims?

This is a main reason that so few outstanding Republicans will run for office. Most people have something their own or a loved one’s background that they would prefer not having publicized. If they do not, the Dems and their partners in the press will just make something up.
Republicans do not do this to Dems.
