A strong and wonderful woman named Kim Crockett is running, as the Republican Nominee, for Secretary of State in Minnesota, a State where Election Fraud is rampant, but where nothing is done about it or, more importantly, to FIX IT. As he fully understands, writer Bob Woodward never got my permission to release tapes of my various interviews with him.Those tapes were allowed only for purposes of making sure that he got my quotes & statements correct for “the WRITTEN WORD,” in other words, for his, nevertheless, highly inaccurate book.The tapes are much better than the book, at least if they were not bludgeoned to death by him to make me look as bad as possible, but he & his publisher had NO right to use my “VOICE” or them!

I love how she thanked God for sustaining her, first. And she’s beautiful! And smart! And principled! And a heck of a worker.
And I know she got that from her mama.
When we would go to Italy to spend Summers with my grandparents, we would go out to local pizzerias. No matter where we went, the underlying flavor was similar and so much different than pizza we were used to. I don’t remember how but somehow we found a restaurant in LA that had this VPN pizza. So I started looking it up, especially when we moved. We’re pretty far from any VPN pizzerias now, so that’s why I bought an Il Forno wood fired oven to make my own. Unfortunately it got smashed in the move. I’m currently looking for a replacement, something either electric or gas initially because it was a pain using wood to heat the oven all day just for one pizza. It sounds lovely and romantic, until you have to do it.

Well, I can’t say I hold all of those attributes lol. I did work hard all my life, I can say that!
As for beautiful, well, I can tell you about the day I went back to visit the large apartment complex I used to manage. I left there when we built the house and then the kids were born. We took the kids for a visit when they were about 4 and 2 years old. I remember one of my former tenants saying, “Oh Judy, the kids are so cute....they don’t look like either one of you.” Lol I laughed.
Well, isn’t that interesting. I’ll have to look that up. So the pizza has a distinct flavor from the process, but not a particular spice or ingredient. Huh....that’s very cool....going to read the article now.

That recipe sounds good, it’s similar to the one by Lidia Bastianich that I use. Except Lidia has a lot more meat with similar vegetables quantities. But she does keep the 1 lb of meat to 2 cups of milk ratio. But I’m with lydia, if I’m going to make a sauce that cooks all day I want more than one serving! I usually make enough to freeze about 3 or 4 quarts. Or maybe I’m making enough for that huge Italian family I never had.
Pasta machine, but fun! What have you made so far? When we put the granite in I had them make a longer ledge along the small counter that goes behind the sink. That way I could attach my pasta machine there, LOL. The counter is about 18 in wide but it’s about 8 ft long. I can roll out a big sheet of pasta!

Will have to try that one, next time.
