It is a smaller venue. They said the capacity earlier, but I forgot.
I didn’t know nuns were into heavy makeup. No big deal, it just surprises me. Some of them are cute.

She’s doing well, Rusty. Her hubby is loving it - having the time of his life, knocking on all the farmers’ doors and yapping it up. I think when farmers work alone all day, they enjoy the opportunities to discuss everything when they get the chance. The man she’s running against has been the councilor for years.....he didn’t expect to be challenged and I think it’s gotten his nose a tad out of joint.
In any case, she’s been so busy. The kids have been home on their own a lot, but the oldest is 13 now, so they seem to be doing ok. The youngest one is with me most of the day doing school. To be honest, I think the older two (13 & 11) like being independent. Their dad is always in and out of the house all day as well, and I’m over here, so they always know someone is nearby. They usually come over here and raid my fridge on a daily basis anyway lol.
There seems to be a lot of positive feedback coming in, but he’ll be tough to beat. Lots of name recognition in these parts. I hope she’s not too disappointed if she doesn’t win. Sometimes it takes a few tries. We shall see.

That looks like a traditional order judging from the habits. Many Leftist activist nuns in El Salvador were from less-than-traditional orders. The Maryknoll “nuns” typically did not wear habits at all and were dressed like Mennonite teen girls with below the knee skirts and practical tops.

The president caught a hat and a sharpie tossed to him to sign, then he tossed them back. He’s the real deal.
I hope so, weston. So upbeat. I hope the cheating doesn’t cause chaos.
The crowd was so quiet and somber as he began the “we are a nation inn decline...” part of the speech.
You could see the love of country and concern for our nation written on every face behind him.
Off to bed for me. My ice-cream can wait for the next rally (yeah, right lol). ‘Night all.
