Its moronic to suggest a nuclear armed Russia was somehow being threatened by a much weaker 'armed Ukraine with offensive weapons'.
One has to wonder, despite assurances that all nukes were returned to Russia, that a few might have been held back. Regardless, Ukraine is a technology leader with strong capabilities to get back in the game it it wants to. Putin isn’t interested in Ukraine because it grows good wheat.
