Republicans with skeletons in their closet just shouldn’t run. They will be found out. Especially those claiming to be family centered, marriage centered Christian Republicans.
I don’t agree. There’s nobody out there without some skeleton, be it small or large, and the Dems will make the most of it. My point is to be up front and make sure people know of major past mistakes, or at least let them know you’ve made them, and have made things right, been forgiven, and grown.
Trying to keep this stuff secret is useless - too many people willing to talk, and too many crooked Dems willing to seek them out and grease their palms. Be up front from the get go and it takes that power away from them, and doesn’t leave your base feeling a little disappointed, betrayed, and ridiculed by the corrupt media.
