My F-150 and my Escape both do that. Well, the truck no longer does since I had that feature turned off with a performance tune.
It defaults to “on” on the Escape, but I turn it off normally. My first couple of cars had a stalling problem, so it’s a cringe moment having the engine shut down for us old timers.

I’m 57. I don’t like it when my car shuts off by itself. What could possibly go wrong? Even God himself couldn’t screw that up! My hemi Challenger does not do this. I will never sell it. I may get buried in it just to be a Richard cranium.
