Hello FRens been prepping for Ian! Thank the almighty I am closer to the East Coast than where it is forecasted to bear down. But prayers out to those in Ian’s direct immediate path who will bear the brunt of the hurricane.

Current 11:00 AM forecast is for Ian to remain just off the Florida coast for 24 hours, two tide cycles, which is unprecedented. Ft. Myers to Tampa Bay will be inundated due to this. Unheard of water intrusion is expected for the region.

Current forecast is landfall 70 miles south of Tampa at Venice, Florida with 125 mph winds. Sarasota/Venice, Florida can expect devastation unfortunately if this holds up. Ft. Myers to Cedar Key are going to be impacted. Next update at 8:00 PM EST.
