It occurred to me recently ... the move to electric cars portends an even worse resulting scenario from any EMP which it would seem current events provide a predicate ... TBD + WWG1WGA - Maranatha! :)

True, but an EMP would not be required. These cars will all be remotely controllable, at least to the extent they can just be turned off if some demented political hack doesn't like where you are going.

Or an enemy could use cyber warfare. Nuclear weapons have been held in check for over 75 years now; perhaps because a nuclear war produces a lot of losers but not necessarily any winners.

Not just electric cars my FRiend, but all cars from about the mid-80’s to present. That’s some fine engineering from all manufacturers. /s

Practically all modern vehicles are simply rolling computers with four tires.
