No, he’s not vaxed, thank goodness. He was trying to tell me yesterday, while in one of his confused states, that covid caused these clots. The only problem with that is that neither of us has had covid, that we know about.
The neurologist called a while ago and said that they are going to do an EEG and an MRI on his brain. His mind comes and goes and that concerns them. At 84 I think that would be expected but they want to make sure no mini clots went to his brain. They are also going to check his legs because most clots in the lungs come from somewhere else, like the legs. He won’t be home tonight. Maybe tomorrow, depending on test results. My daughter and SIL are going down later to visit and I’m going with them instead of driving down alone. The granddaughter is down there now. It’s about an hour drive in a lot of traffic and through some very bad neighborhoods. I can go alone but prefer not to.
Good idea riding with them. I had PT right across the street from Memorial last yea. The hospital campus is pretty secure, but it’s not too far from a somewhat rough neighborhood. Not terrible, mind you, but not great either.
My granddaughter was a PTA across from Park Ridge. There was a driveby shooting practically in their parking lot. That’s when she quit there and started doing home PT with a different outfit. When I go down, I go through the split (75/24), get off on 4th AVE, go down 23rd to Dodds and turn left. Dodds takes you to Memorial, but you have to travel through some really bad neighborhoods that way. You don’t want to be caught down there after dark. My kids get off the Interstate on Lee Hwy (ll) and go through the tunnels on Brainerd Rd. That’s not much safer. LOL
TC, prayers for what you both are going through. Your most important job right now is to eat right and GET ENOUGH REST! And then start looking for some respite care providers.
I interact with the public every day at work, and my unscientific observations tell me that more people are dying, and they are younger than expected. I also have had a personal experience with discovering someone that had died while caring for a relative last year, and I strongly suspect that they had been recently jabbed. I see other people that have developed conditions or have had conditions made worse after getting the jab. How much longer before the normies start to see the connection?
Thanks blu! It was after midnight last night before I got the dogs taken care of and got in bed. I had to be up by 6:00 so the SIL could bring the grand-dog down. LOL I keep him during the day. He’s the brother to two of mine.
My daughter said we’re going down this afternoon early enough to be back before dark so maybe tonight will be better. He doesn’t like being in the hospital and blows up our phones. I had a missed call from him at 2:00am this morning. My phone doesn’t alert after 9:00pm.
