I read an article a few months ago that mentioned having had the flu (one, or, a few times) is the superior way to have long term immunity.

If I can find the article, again, I am going to bookmark it, somehow.

Yes, that and quite a few immunizations at work for some really exotic and nasty diseases to certify me for worldwide deployment have definitely helped overall. The cholera and typhus shots in the 70’s were the worst but probably most effective. Both arms were killing me for a week and a half and couldn’t move them from the swelling. Can only imagine how bad it is getting the actual diseases.
