Unsubstantiated speculation swirled Saturday morning that Chinese President Xi Jinping has been locked down in isolation amid a potential coup.
Far East expert Gordon Chang said the rumor is likely "untrue," but he noted there is something unusual going on in China and "there is turbulence" among the Chinese Communist Party leadership.

Xi Jinping loosed the Wuhan virus on the world; scared, threatened, and antagonized most of China’s neighbors, including a rearming Japan; and broke the Hong Kong treaty with the UK, which now makes peaceful reunification with Taiwan impossible. Inside China, Xi has crippled the economy with excessive covid lockdowns. I think it is accurate to say that Xi couldn’t be elected dogcatcher in a free and fair election in China, but getting rid of him won’t be easy. As Winston Churchill famously said, “democracy is the worst form of government – except for all the others that have been tried.”
Maybe he’s got covid #4 ...

imo, he’s accomplished quite a bit. Here’s his top 10 list:
10. infiltration of many major US universities’ science & engineering departments with spies
9. acquired thousands of acres of US farmland
8. controls WW supply chain of critical strategic & rare earth metals
7. successful gain of function bio labs introduces WW pandemic which depletes US Military manpower thru vax mandates
6. controls supply chain of critical equipment and replacement parts
5. had a CCP spy chauffer Di Fi (Senate Intel com) for over 20 years
4. had fang fang honey trap swalwell (House Intel com)
3. appropriates all patents & proprietary information on US tech companies operating in china
2. CCP establishes business partnership relationship with Hunter Buyden to acquire dual purpose US industries
1. CCP rigs US presidential election & installs the big guy, zho bai din to take over the USA without firing a shot
based on these accomplishments, I’d say Xi has had a successful career

Blinken Warns China FM Against Support To Russia At UN
Secretary of State Antony Blinken met his Chinese counterpart Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday - at a moment tensions over Taiwan are still on edge following Nancy Pelosi’s early August trip to the self-ruled island.
Blinken took the opportunity to again warn Beijing against providing any support to ongoing Russian operations amid the invasion of Ukraine. A statement said the top US diplomat “reiterated the United States’ condemnation of Russia’s war against Ukraine and highlighted the implications if the PRC [People’s Republic of China] were to provide support to Moscow’s invasion of a sovereign state.”
