Lost mine decades ago.
I think that I just threw it away.
But that was long before I realized how dumb and naive' people are.
I should have kept it to sell later to some dumb sucker.
"WOW! - AN ORIGINAL PET ROCK!"
Note: I personally did not originally pay for that pet rock.
Some dumb 5 year old kid begged his mom to buy it for him...
:-)

Champion grifter?

I suspect you’re off target. BitCoin, for example, is very open. The ledger is fully visible. It was painfully obvious from the git-go, every BitCoin transaction is traceable. The motivation was to provide an alternative to Gov’t-manipulated fiat money.
Now, it is true criminals and fraudsters have created criminal enterprises around crypto. But they do it with real money too! Even Gov’t-issued funds, e.g. it’s pretty obvious a substantial amount of Gov’t spending is mostly a vehicle to launder tax dollars into the pockets of the connected.
Some how, some way, this jackass will get it all back - and quickly.
Crypto is secure, the exchanges, not so much.🙄
I hope he goes to prison for a long time and enjoys his new bunk mates.
