The public likes Anne, Edward and Sophie. I would be surprised if Charles puts them out to pasture. Charles creating Edward the Duke of Edinburgh (his father’s title which he can now confer on his brother) would be a very popular move.
I think they are just waiting for William to take over. I must say, I look forward to seeing how William and Kate’s kids grow up, especially Charlotte.
Anne, Edward, and Sophie will remain. Anbe’s children are not working royals. Edward and Sophie are raising their children not to be working royals.
