King Charles looks to ‘slim down’ the monarchy

Charles has for a long time made it known that he intends to “slim down” the monarchy in response to public demand for a more modern institution with lower costs and less ostentation.

Maybe so. It was nearly 50 years ago, during their Brain Salad Surgery years, that I saw them in concert. All 3 were at the top of their games, it was astounding the music put out by those 3 musicians.

Sadly, only Carl Palmer is still alive.

I was a bit too young back in ELP’s day, but got to see them on their Black Moon tour (~1992). They were still great. It was in a small theater - maybe 400 people. After they blew the neighborhood’s power out (twice) they finally came on an hour later and played their entire show.

Could be referring to the theatrical guards, and the wait staff. You could still have the pageantry with about half the cast.

If he does then he is working against Britain. The socialists would love to see the monarchy gone as it reminds the English of their empire when they were great.
