Yeah, I suppose it's doable and you pay for your level of charging capacity, right?

I suppose you could install a battery storage pack to charge up and then use it for vehicle charging. Sort of distributing the load over a longer period of time.

All costing money, of course.

you won’t have to worry about that, the suburbs will no longer exist. Everyone except the ruling class will be living in soviet style apartment blocks and will use public transport. They just haven’t said that bit out loud yet.

Just make sure you put the charging station outside, so when your EV combusts, it doesn’t take the whole house with it.

The most common primary distribution voltage in use in the USA is 7200V phase-to-neutral.

I won’t be buying an EV. I purchased a low-mileage 2019 ICE vehicle and I drive minimal miles/year. It should last me for the duration unless I live a lot longer.

Unless they make it illegal to sell gasoline.

I just filled up my jeep in around 3 minutes

**********

On average how many miles does that get you down the road.
I had an uncle that had a jeep but it was one of the older
models and definitely not comparable to today's models.

But physics is a harsh master.

Oh, you mean science that is really "settled".

... like owning an ICE car with a gas tank that perpetually shrinks. Yet it takes the same amount of time to fill it up.

Except after 6 to 8 years you have to buy a new gas tank for $6,000 to $20,000...

And the battery car has no resale or trade-in value after 5 years.

Here’s an article on the cost of installing a charger and an answer to the question on multiple car charging.

EV owners who live in sunny states can also put solar panels on their roofs and use that to help charge their cars. A friend of mine had solar panels and a Leaf and was able to get back and forth from work on the charge.

They either sell the solar back to the power company during the day and use the money to pay for the electricity they need at night, or have a sufficient amount of battery storage to collect the solar power by day and charge their cars at night.

Remote commercial charging stations will necessarily occupy our valuable time for much longer than gassing up a car.

You'll be a sitting duck for predators for that time period, too.

They'll know how long they have to harvest their prey.

Just under 300 on a full tank.

It’s a later model fuel injected v6

30 minutes supercharge.

I have read in many places that super, fast charging cuts down on the overall life of the battery.

Don’t forget about Affirmative Action, needing to have your Facebook account active (i.e. not in trouble with their Fact checkers), vaccine card (unless illegal alien), and verified as not being an extremist (such as spreading theories about 2020 not approved by CNM) in order to even have the right to legally charge your vehicle or to be a passenger in any vehicle. Canceled people will be walking?

I'm retired and drive very little. Groceries, Lowes, etc. Occasionally visit relatives 20-30 miles away. Infrequently, I might drive to Atlanta, roughly 200 miles.

So an EV would be ok for me. But I elected for a 2019 Sante Fe ICE in 2019. It's a nice, roomy vehicle for what I paid.

Pretty much rest assured that:

Electricity rates for everyone are going to be going up big time in the near future.

When the dust settles it will be less expensive to own and operate an ICE vehicle.
