What is causing the influx of novellettes posing as comments? 🤔
It’s like marking the couch leg, so we find where we left it last, like leaving the thread with... “Mark”, or typing a period (.) 🤣 😄Hilarious, as burping in public. /Not very. 😙
One is the short and distracting. The other is slog-long and distracting.
What happened to using links, and brief excerpts?
I ask myself... “What if we ALL indulged ourselves that way, all day?”. 😳
PS: That was a pretty good article, btw. Although Bright Bulb was careless and wrong to characterize what Putin said about “nukes”. He should have Quoted Putin exactly and in context, particularly on a deadly Hot subject as nuclear annihilation, where the mention of it is extremely deserving of accuracy and context. 🤦♀️
I’ve requested links and synopsis over and over but to no avail. It’s like a contest to see who can make the longest post.
Why put a link anyway when you already posted the whole three page article.
Is it okay to dump in “gisd O” randomly just for fun? What does that mean, anyway??
Rita, for once, we agree on something! The posting of novels is getting ridiculous! I mostly read on a laptop, and I find it very annoying to have to scroll through an article I might not be interested in reading.
In writing for publication, a well-written article sets the hook (creates interest) in the first paragraph. A good writer uses that paragraph to give the reader an outline of the information that will be found in the article.
I’m a big fan of the “Hey, I found this, it relates to real estate prices (or whatever), followed by the link and the first paragraph of the article.
Folks don’t like clicking on a link? Must they be spoon fed all their info? Somthing’s wrong with that, on a fundamental level.
As for folks leaving themselves a marker, ahhh, it’s not biggie.
