Just paid for a steer for the fall-winter for the family. After processing the cost will be about $4.50 a lb. for all cuts.
I asked him last spring how he could still sell to me at spring prices, he replied that feed for the fall was already purchased so no change in cost.
I asked him this week what spring prices were going to look like, he said he was putting pen to paper this week but the spring price would be significantly higher due to rapidly rising feed costs.
Once again, if able time to prepare Victory, barrel, hanging, or any other type of garden for this spring. We are about to be into depression era shortages, brought to us intentionally by Heir Gavin Nuisance and the California water commission.
Heir Gavin has also intentionally shutdown the west coast ports for two years now, and going after diesel trucking, independent trucking, and when this is coupled with the upcoming rail strike we may see shortages not seen since before and during WWII.
I pity Americans for not being prepared, it is the scouts motto ( pre corruption). Carter gas shortages and rationing are nothing compared to commodity rationing. Can you say “ more Soylent Green Mr. Gates? Thank you for your kindness!”
Another question to ask ourselves- how quickly can I get to cash only, local, purchases when possible, farmers markets, flea markets, neighborhood swaps, etc.
If it can’t be tracked, it can’t be controlled.

A friend of mine just shot a deer (bow) on my property in NH (USA). I get half. The back strap is said to be very good. I’ll be getting the ground meat next week. That and the food service we have we are never without meat.
