How? Easy, it’s less work if the doctors and staff just respond to a black box that tells them what to do.
EPIC has been around and used in many hospitals for at least a decade and a half.
“Updates” to a system are not going to be examined in any great detail.
You could hire most anything in there and no one would question it
Not really. Doctors and nurses are still responsible for their own license. Hence you will get people questioning orders
How? Because the prior medical record/pharmacy software sucked...”Meditech” in the case of my RN wife’s hospital. Not rocket science.
