Yes, when done correctly the business of being a Royal can probably be a bit taxing. Then there’s the aspect of worrying about slips of the tongue, people stalking you trying to take pictures, not being able to have a real friend and confidant like normal people, etc, etc.
And then there’s the security issues. They had several attempts on the lives of Royals in past decades. One attempt did kill Lord Mountbatten on his yacht. It’s a wonder some sand flea hasn’t tried flying a plane into Buckingham Palace or Balmoral.
Charles has been saying for some time that the list of working Royals needed to be trimmed. Harry and Meghan are a good place to start. Randy Andy might get cut loose too. His situation may still get interesting.
No talk of bags of cash or underage girls. The Firm quickly takes care of those things.
