It is only a lie if you know it to be untrue. Trump depended upon highly qualified "experts" whose agenda was to mislead him and do him political harm. Bush depended upon intel reports from multiple sources that confirmed WMDs in Iraq. Which were in fact moved to Syria on the eve of the Gulf War.
Does it bother me that neither has said "They fooled me"? Yes, a little, but not nearly as much as the liars who did the fooling.
No doubt, others were/are flat out evil.
My point is that both Trump and Bush made huge mistakes, supposedly meaning well. So far, we have zero assurance from Trump that he won't be a willing participant again. Especially, since he still either stubbornly or ignorantly sticks to his misguided guns regarding his SawmpVax.
