McCarthy and McConnell will retain their leadership positions in Congress for sure unless too many MAGA supporters are elected. It seems to me that they would prefer staying in the minority if taking the majority means MAGA policies have a chance in DC. The Republican Party is so disgusting.

Don’t forget that with all of the cheering about how more people will vote republican....votes are not as important as how the votes are counted.

We learned that the hard way in 2020, but unfortuneately we have not yet corrected the flaws in our vote counting.

I have no confidence in McCarthy. He is a despicable worm, so I make no excuses for him. However, it just could be that he made those remarks to expose someone. The answer to that would be in what he actually said to Trump in private.

But it is much more likely that he knows the fix is in and that regardless of how we vote, the votes will be counted as a winner for the dims. If he believes that, which I suspect, he is putting all of his chips on the table supporting the dims.
