The Red Heifer is part of the laws GOD gave to Moses.
Other than the fact that their ancestors missed the boat on Christ they are trying to follow GOD about the Red Heifer, that’s the exact opposite of the Golden Calf which was a case of them rejecting GOD and his laws.

His point is that the red heifer is a precursor to sanctifying the implements used in a new temple in order to offer sacrifices. There is no need for any other sacrifice. Jesus Christ paid the full amount to cover ALL sin, and for all time. Any system that adds to that is claiming What Christ did was not sufficient! Blasphemy!
