Suspect all you want. I’m just telling it like it is. DeSantis will win reelection for Governor easily, so there’s no harm in looking down the road to what’s likely to come. As far as driving a wedge between Trump and DeSantis, there either is one or there isn’t one. The two of them know which it is, and my speculation will have no effect on that. And whether or not they’ve said they’re on the same team doesn’t mean much. Remember all the talk about some grand alliance between Trump and Cruz in early 2016? Remember how that turned out?
Trump’s comments about DeSantis have been a mix of good and bad - hardly a complete endorsement.
If people want to criticize DeSantis, might be a good idea to find actually statements he’s made that are bad, bills that he’s signed, proposals or ideas or plans that are bad, etc.
