I specifically went looking for magnesium glycinate (400mg) to pair with Taurine (1000-1500 mg). I think it may be too high a dose for me. Previously I was taking magnesium citrate (180 mg) with no issues. My skin has been breaking out like crazy (first indication for me that I’m sensitive to a supplement) and just feels inflamed, itchy and raw.
Jeff Goldblum may be a scumbag (I really don’t know if he is or not ), but I swear…his comedic roles are some of the most hilarious I’ve ever seen.
Shit, that's it then. Sorry for the brief vulgarity. Britain is done.
I'm superstitious to some degree. And one of the things I've been told since I was a little kid was that if the ravens ever left the Tower, Britain would fall.
Duchess Kate is known to dress like others she wants emulate. So what was she going for here?
Ravens of the Tower of London
The Ravens of the Tower of London are a group of at least six captive ravens resident at the Tower of London. Their presence is traditionally believed to protect The Crown and the Tower; a superstition holds that “if the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it.” Some historians, including the Tower’s official historian, believe the “Tower’s raven mythology is likely to be a Victorian flight of fantasy”.

I have a friend who was on the 30th floor of the American Express building at WTC that morning, facing the towers. They were standing at the window watching when the second plane hit. Her co-worker shouted out, “Oh my God! It’s United!” while the first thought/thing out of my friend’s mouth was, “What in the HELL is air traffic control DOING?!”
So yeah, it took some people a few minutes.

I am not finding any stories regarding the ravens leaving the Tower of London. Link?
As The World Turns was on CBS, when the first bulletins about the JFK assassination came out. *cue foreboding music*
Was home watching that on TV, about 15 miles from where he was shot.

Tough for them to stray far with clipped wings
(If the ravens depart the Tower Britain is supposedly road kill! But you knew that!)
You got it!
I was a 17-year old touring the Tower with my mother nearly 40 years ago and the Beefeater told us how the kingdom would fall should the ravens ever depart the Tower.
He then told us, with a twinkle in his eye, how their wings had been clipped because “We’re not taking any chances.”
Her co-worker shouted out, “Oh my God! It’s United

Please read my confession at comment no. 813.
I thought following the collapse of a guard at the queen’s vigil, all the evil portents would materialize.
Apparently, there’s been a few other collapses/faintings today.

The historian can say whatever he likes. I still say it’s a bad omen.
On the other hand, praying about concerns has never done any harm, so I believe I’ll go that route for the present..

"A significant element of the book (Lewis rated it as "second in importance") is to illustrate the destructive folly of seeking power and prestige by belonging to a ruling clique or inner circle.[5]
Somewhat like the early Gnostics, the main antagonists of That Hideous Strength despise the human body and all organic life as frail, corrupted, and unworthy of pure mind. Like modern transhumanists, they believe that humanity can be perfected by migrating out of flesh and blood. Lewis portrays the consequences of these ideas as a dystopian nightmare: by rejecting God and His creation, the N.I.C.E inevitably falls under the dominion of demons (whom they imagine to have discovered under the guise of "macrobes").......snip......[6] Lewis's attack is not on science as such, or scientific planning, but rather the kind of totalitarian planned society idealised by Nazism and Bolshevism: "the disciplined cruelty of some ideological oligarchy."[5] "
