My husband's DC just says "COVID" as cause of death. Usually a DC will says 2 or 3 things ... eg, 1) immediate cause of death, due to 2) illness or condition, as a results of 3) underlying constition. IOW, 1) mycardial infarction due to 2) blocked artery as a result of 3) obesity or blockage, or whatever.
I don't even know what my husband's actual cause of death was ... he was treated for a bacterial infection for 3 weeks. They said his lungs were deteriorating. Due to ??? Yet the DC says only one word: COVID. In hindsight I should have asked for an autopsy, but my grief (illogically) didn't want his body further desecrated.
Do they ever stop to consider what the survivors of those they tortured and killed have to live with in the aftermath of such deliberate acts of evil to their loved ones? I hope we can be strong enough to confront these wrongs, it is hard to deal with while we are still grieving over the loss.
