Everyone remembers events in their own personal way.
When I recall that first few days, weeks after 9/11/2001, I think of other music. One piece was produced in 1982, but still works. It’s called Koyaanisqatsi. The word is from a Hopi Indian tribe and it refers to Life Out of Balance.
It’s an instrumental work, done in minimalist/ classical style by Phillip Glass. It is not a comfortable piece, and there are areas that are strongly dischordant, as was meant to be. The performance both attracts and repels, just like much of life.
