The list is the 'Viking Kitty' list, as well as the 'Zot' list (combined). The ones at the front of the list are FReepers whom have passed away, but were on the list.
We may have to make a separate list for the Kitties and the Zot list. In that case, we will have to start over to redo the list, which will take a lot of time.. It is possible, but it took about 2 months, and lots of back-research to rebuild the list (going back to about 2005/per user)... Look at the pinglist to get an idea of how many FReepers (remember, it is per
FReeper) to do background research.
Scroll down to the bottom of my
FReeper page to see how many are on the Viking Kitty/Zot ping list.
If there are enough requests/complaints, I will start a new Kitty list.. but it took me almost a month, and lots of "man hours" from myself, and many previous VK/Zot Freepers to repair/regain the list.
If most want to keep the same ping list, and you are still unhappy, please let us know, and by your request, we will remove your FR-name from the list.
To be honest, I DO think there should be 2 ping lists to separate the pings, but at the moment, I seem to be the only one to do both. The original ping list holders are now either deceased or inactive.
When I originally made that thread, I had asked for someone to take over, or for some assistance. Read the entire 400+ post thread...
IF you would like to take over the VK Ping list, let me know, it would take some weight off of me... I didn't intend for it to be only me, but all of the ones originally on the VK and the Zot list.
Sadly, most of the ping list holders have passed away, or are 'unknown situation'.
