To: Monkey Face

Good morning. Wear a coat and hat!

I am feeling better this morning, in spite of not getting to bed until midnight because DP and I went to a concert uptown. I still have an ache in my thigh, but the really bad hotspot at my back is gone.

My theory is that the way I was bracing my foot on a wall in front of my seat last night helped to stretch a muscle.

The PW does stretching exercises like that for her plantar fasciitis and claims that it does wonders for her foot. However, she overdid it and her back muscles have been spasming ever since. (If a little is good, a lot is better?)

Anyway, that stretching may have helped to relieve the pressure on the sciatic nerve.

I’m glad that you’re feeling better!

It’s been ages since I’ve done anything fun, like a concert, but I’m old and chronically ill so why even bother to ask me?

Obviously, excuses are much easier these days, now that my hair has more gray.
