I had to listen to my uplifting talk, then got interrupted by a bazillion text messages to make sure I’m OK (of course I am — I’m a tough ol’ bird!) to which I responded: yes, longjohns, leg warmers, sweaters and space heater. I still haven’t written to Charlie and it seems to be getting harder and harder to do that. Darnit.
FD had some icy stuff under an outside door, and I told her I’d send her my “draft dodger”/door snake on Tuesday, but that I had to wash it first. I told her to put throw rugs or blankets in front of all the doors and to get a plastic kit for the French doors to help insulate them through the winter.
