Some states will allow dark tint on the rear window as well as the rear passenger windows but want less dark on the driver and front passenger side. Nevada was that way, so when the BB SUV was tinted, I had limousine tint in the back and “22%” on the front.
It’s so the police can see what’s going on inside the vehicle, and for nothing else. They make exceptions for people with skin cancer and other problems, such as taking sun-sensitive medications. Somehow, I don’t think Tom the Son quaiifies for any of that!
I wish him luck on it. It usually leaves a mess.
It’s the front seat windows. I want to be able to see the driver, too, so that I can get an idea of what he’s going to do next, being as how they won’t use their turn signals or come to a full stop at stop signs.
