I tried calling the shuttle office, but they aren’t opening now until 0600 MST, so I’m going to go take my shower before I call them. She won’t be awake anyway, and unlike her, I’ll send an email with the new schedule.
I was taught to respect hours and persons, and no amount of associating with ne’er-do-wells will change my old habits!
Now I’m going to go in and try to warm up!
Hours.
Mom was up at 12:30 emptying an entire box of kleenex onto the kitchen table in the dark, while Ratboy was frantically searching for her. The back inside door was open (I’d just let the dog out and went to the benjo myself) he thought she’d escaped and only closed the storm door. She insisted there was someone at the front door I needed to let in.
Mom was up at 3:00 waking everyone up because she couldn’t find the remote and wanted to watch the news.
Mom was up at 5:30 because she saw a bunch of kids playing in the back yard. 17°. No kids.
Needless to say, Tyson-who-is-not-allowed-on-the-furniture stole my bed at every turn.
Mom was up at 6:30 insisting she’d showered despite still being in the pajamas, and what about the kids in the back yard?
I finished my exercises and had a shower.
The auto-license place isn’t open today, so there’s no point in picking Tom’s car up from the mechanic. It can wait until Monday.
