At a social event a couple of years after 911, I met a retired guy who was working at nearby ArmyNavy golf course as a Marshall on 911. He said that the plane flew over the course so low that golfers immediately started heading back to the clubhouse to find out what was going on.
I was headed to Crystal City for a meeting, and it flew over my car. Saw it hit the Pentagon in my rear-view mirror!
