Yes, I forgot about Jackson. Also, I read recently that Baton Rouge now has a crime rate exceeding New Orleans. Not good because my granddaughter is at LSU.

I understood Hurricane Katrina forced many of the criminal element to leave “na lans” —-even the language is being bastardized—-for other welfare rich targets like Houston etc.

Then again my daughter and family went to New Orleans and said it was very bad still.
