The amount of fake fentanyl out there killing people is staggering. Lots of it comes across the border but a good amount is made here. Using street drugs of any kind right now is extraordinarily dangerous because so many are laced with fentanyl to give it a kick

Lots of people (a lot of young adults) in Seattle are dying because of Fentynal. They get marked as prescription drugs. And I guess their “quality control” (who knew!?) has gone downhill, so one never knows how big of a dose any one pill might have. One pill out of the bag might have very little of the active ingredient, but the pill next to it will give you an overdose.

So bitterly ironic. Instead of using our soldiers to close the border -- a constitutional duty -- the open border (cartel fentanyl) is killing our soldiers.

I forget how many years ago but a good friend's son, who was a West Point grad, was severely injured in Iraq with a broken back.

Following his recovery at Ft. Hood, he was sent back to West Point as a class advisor or something like that. While there, he died of a drug overdose.

While my friend never discussed the son's death with me, I suspect he overdosed on oxycontin due to his back injury since that drug was coming on the scene in epidemic proportions.
