Very interesting comment.

I like the fact that you’re a “people watcher”. People like that get much more out of a conversation and see much more in society.

I think the lockdowns themselves share a lot of blame for the current health of some people, without a doubt.

Hesitation to seek out medical care during Covid really took its toll.
Who wanted to go to see a doctor for minor chest pain that went away?
Not many wanted specialized test performed at hospitals or clinics like MRIs, Ultra Sounds, etc.
Of course in some cases that certainly made conditions worse.
Stress also I believe is a factor. It’s known to lower your immune system.

Imagine someone delaying treatment, wakes up one day with clear signs of a severe cardiac issue and needs Bypass surgery instead of stents because they ignored or waited do to the Hospitals being flooded with Covid patients and the fear of going to a Hospital because “that’s where the Covid it’s for sure”.

Finally, we have the staffing shortage. Getting an appointment with a Doctor was days. Now it’s weeks, or even months for people in the country.
Along with the staffing shortage, people now are making up for lost time, no longer worried about going for test, many people are trying to catch up with their on going health issues or new ones they delayed addressing.

Appointments with specialist takes months. If their condition or symptoms become worse during that time of waiting, they end up hospitalized or worse.

Thank you for your comment. It gave me lots to chew on.
Have a great day.

I’ve seen this hypothesis elsewhere. It neatly segues the causes of *delayed events* onto the lockdowns via induced fear of Covid, glossed with stress.

Obviously, it is now permissible to criticize lockdowns. I had relatives accept the shot because then they could go to the hospital. Except, when that happened, the inoculated threw a positive PCR and were denied any surgery that wasn’t designated *essential*/admitted thru ER. Many ended up on the Covid ward. My non-injected husband is finally scheduled for an *elective* outpatient surgery w/no injection (just PCR) required.

Personal opinion: There was _some_ hesitancy due to inculcated Covid fear. But injection reactions leaked out almost immediately after the first tranches of injections and and that caused people to avoid ALL medical services.

Lifting the injection requirements allowed more people to seek interventions.

We are ~19 months post introduction of inoculations. People are more worried about post-inoculation adverse events than Covid. The longer this attempt to deny injection reactions continues, the less people retain any trust in the entire institutional medical system.

Meanwhile, the stress continues and may even be elevated, so at least the perpetrators of this operation have that going for them.
